My husband, Byorn had a Life Insurance Policy with your Company. He died August 22, 2010. At the advice of my attorney, I immediately notified you and never got a reply. Six weeks later, when I recieved the Death Certificate, I filed a claim. Three weeks after that you sent a form to be completed by me. I had already sent the policy and a Death Certificate. I sent the completed form and have not heard from you.
Please reply and let me know what is going on. Other Companies have paid long ago.

My mother has had a policy with RALIC for many years, I am her POA, recently as POA I requested a loan application so we could reduce the amount of the cash value of her policy to satisfy Medicade regulations. I received the forms in the mail and filled them out according to the instruction sheet that came with them. RALIC has a notorized copy of my POA. About a week later I receivd a letter saying that the request had to be notorized because the form was filled out by the POA (me), NO where in the instructions does it say that it must be notorized , which they agree that it does not, but they will not process the loan until I send a new aplication back that is notorized even though it was not mentioned on the instruction form. My Mother has stage 6 Alziemers and can no longer sign, thats why I am POA, I have talked until I am blue in the face and worn out to several levels of managment at RALIC. They still refuse to process the loan , even though the instructions in the loan are their error. I do not feel that I should have to jump through hoops because of their error, I have my hands full just taking care of my Mom. Guess they don’t care.. They have given me no choice but to file complaints against them in MI. IL and IN. This is in process as the post is being written
My wife passed away on October 21 2010 and i have noticed that we were covered by you. The payment is automatically debited from my checking account.
